A design is only as good as its execution. Sovran provides design management as a standalone service for clients who have a design in place and need it delivered, coordinating contractors, managing the programme, resolving site queries against the design intent, and ensuring the specification reaches the room as drawn. Design management sits between interior design and construction management, and it is the stage where the quality of a finished interior is most often either protected or lost.

Furniture, fixtures, and equipment specification is the work that sits between interior design and the finished room. Sovran manages the full FF&E process: sourcing, specification, supplier liaison, lead time management, and delivery coordination. As part of a wider project or as a standalone service for clients who have a designed interior and need it properly procured. We have established relationships with manufacturers and suppliers across the UK and Europe. Buying at trade across a portfolio of projects means clients access specification-grade pricing without compromise on quality. For commercial commissions, all loose furniture and fixed upholstery is specified to meet the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988, with fabric and foam rated to BS 5852 ignition source standards, a compliance requirement that residential-led practices often miss when crossing into commercial environments.

Bespoke Joinery

Made to the room. Not to a catalogue.

Sovran designs and manufactures bespoke joinery for every room type: fitted wardrobes, kitchen cabinetry, library walls, bar units, media joinery, and bedroom furniture. Each piece is drawn as part of the interiors. Manufactured off-site to tight tolerances and installed by the same team that designed it. The result is joinery that fits the room precisely, because it was designed for it.
